Denver Petersen has been identified as the new coach of Ocean View FC.
No Bones with Jones has established that the local coach from Ocean View could be the man to take over from Cliffie Carelse.
This shake-up is understandable as the coastal side retained their Third Division status by the skin of their teeth last season – and who better than a local to drive the team to newer heights.
Petersen was described as a humble individual who was a very good player during his playing days.
He is also very familiar with the football landscape in the area and this bodes well for the club as they mostly recruit local talent from the area.
One can only imagine the rivalry with the newcomers, Seaside Spurs, and there will surely be no love lost for bragging rights in this particular derby – certainly one to look forward to.
