In a miraculous twist of events, a fifth legal eagle in Adv. Tibane rocked up at the Arbitrator’s Forum and announced that he will be representing Safa Western Cape in their legal battle with Santos FC.
Despite this, the Arbitrator Adv. Madlala has reserved the outcome and will in all likelihood make his call on Friday (28 November).
A source close to proceedings stated to No Bones with Jones that Santos is “quietly confident of a positive outcome.”
This follows after the province expelled Santos from the Motsepe League for allegedly failing to pay their affiliation fees of R10 000 while the Santos on the other hand requested a set-off as the province owes them outstanding monies as well.
Should Safa WC lose yet another case, they could face another legal cost order against them.
