Perhaps in another life, Safa Western Cape’s leadership and administration could return as law abiding and fearful individuals – but it’s crystal clear that they couldn’t be bothered or care less in their current existence as custodians of football in the province.
It’s selfish and egotistical of Safa WC’s leadership to undermine and brush off the very same football laws he has vowed to uphold, yet now he tramples, let alone that of a country’s judicial system.
No Bones with Jones can now confirm in another civil attempt, Santos FC’s legal team Lionel Cay Attorneys has again reached out to the province to establish when they will honour the Arbitrators ruling to reinstate Santos into the Nedbank Cup with their fixture against Royal Blues which is to be replayed, as well as to reinstate Santos back into the ABC Motsepe League campaign and to fixture them accordingly for the season 2025/’26 season.
This unfortunately never materialised, which is contrary to the Arbitrator’s ruling last week to say the least, and which is why Santos instructed its legal team to follow-up in order to expedite the process. But the province persists to devalue and politicise the beautiful game of football.
Needless to say, Safa Western Cape has already been found guilty of contempt of court and as things stand, another one is coming their way!
