The 2026 LFA season has not even started and thing at the Delft LFA are already going pear shaped
It has now been communicated to its affiliates that “due to the fact that no AGM took place, the LFA will continue to implement the 2025 structure (see document below).
This was confirmed via correspondence from its General Secretary Geronisha Hermaans, recently – much to the dismay and frustration of its members.
Could this stem from the fact that a vote of no confidence was put forward against the LFA’s president, Ebrahiem Jattiem, and his “goons” and now they are being bullied?
“We are so disappointed and we know this is their way of targeting certain members and clubs,” one of the concerned members stated under anonymity to No Bones with Jones. “They are continuing as there is nothing wrong but this is what this LFA is doing with Jattiem and his goons.
“I mean they state that seeing there was no AGM they are going to fall back onto last year’s rules and all that. How can that be possible? They are carrying on as if nothing is wrong and now, they want to start the season on 11 of this month (April),” the source concluded.
Meanwhile Safa Cape Town’s Head of LFA Affairs, Sibongile Mgxekeni, who stated verbatim to No Bones with Jones. “I just to find out about from the LFA (stet).”
