Inter City unveil former Santos coach Bradley as new replacement for Hempe

Inter City FC has signalled their intent for next season following the acquisition of former Santos coach Bradley August (pictured right) as their new head coach.

August was unveiled on Tuesday where he signed a new contract for the 2026’27 season under the watchful eye of the team manager, Ashlam Petersen (pictured left)

“We want to welcome Bradley to our club and we hope that he’ll make some special memories here,” Rauff stated to No Bones with Jones. “We know he comes with a wealth of experience and we are delighted to have him.”

August replaces Theo Hempe who has managed to to retain City’s ABC Motsepe League Second Division status albeit via a playoff match against Bayhill United who was subsequently relegated.

Truth be told, it was a campaign where City, who in retrospect did not have a bad squad at all, yet they underperformed and it is clear that City’s owner, Moeshien Rauff, did not want a repeat of the narrow escape they had given his investments. One feels this time round they will have a more stable platform to challenge for honours.
