Judging by the recent press statement from the former Hope FC (Sea Point Swifts) head coach, Dylan Deane (pictured), his departure was actually not by mutual agreement, as initially indicated by the club.
Deane was unceremoniously sent packing following their promotion to the National First Division, which sent shockwaves through the football fraternity.
“The club’s decision to part ways with me is not one I anticipated,” Deane explained in his statement (below). “Especially considering the vision we built around hope, belief and growth. Football is results-driven, and this decision came as a significant surprise,” he added.
