One win from six games is not good enough and it’s also the reason why Ikapa Sporting’s owner Shaun Pietersen, affectionately known as ‘Pietie Soprano,’ felt the need to step in and take the necessary action.
No Bones with Jones can confirm that Ikapa, who secured Zizwe United’s Second Division status at the beginning of the season, has parted ways with their technical team from Zizwe, which includes coach Msekeli Mvalo (Pictured), his assistant Dr. Lwando Mdeleni, and manager Zolani Malibeni, by “mutual consent.”
“Zain (Ryklief) and coach Thulani (Sikweza), formerly of Hanover Park FC, are now at the helm and will take the team forward,” Pietersen confirmed to No Bones with Jones.
Ikapa is anchored in the second-to-last position on the log, with three points in the stream of Death, and it will definitely test Ryklief’s resolve and capabilities to steer them to safety first and foremost.
