It’s one thing to be critical of Safa Cape Town but it’s also another to be unfair and reckless.
Hence No Bones with Jones has reached out to the region regarding an outdated balance sheet document doing the rounds on social media recently which alleged that the Mother Body, who makes use of a two-year registration period, will again be collecting registration monies this season.
Upon closer inspection one can clearly see it was dated for the 2022/’23 financial year with the new registration again in 2025.
Our website reached out to Safa CT’s General Secretary who stated he was not aware of this and won’t follow these things.
“Our 2023/24 financials were accepted at our last Annual Congress held in February 2025,” Joseph confirmed to No Bones with Jones. “We are now in the 2024/25 financial year which started on 1 November 2024 and ends in October 2025,” Joseph added.
