It’s becoming more evident that Safa Western Cape is clutching at straws in their legal battle with Santos FC which is currently before an Arbitration Forum.
This comes after Safa WC sent yet another one of their legal eagles in Pieter du Toit, packing. The hearing continued and Santos presented its case.
No Bones with Jones can confirm that the matter was subsequently adjourned until Wednesday (26 November) as the Arbitrator wanted the province to confirm the outstanding amount owed to Santos according to their records.
The Safa WC reps will also be given an opportunity to make their submissions when the matter resumes on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Du Toit becomes the fourth lawyer to be axed after the province fired their initial legal team, Ralawe Attorneys with Adv. Unathi Mlamleli, as well as their second who represented Rwasabisi Attorneys and a third lawyer who acted on behalf of Sethosa Attorneys.
