Safa Western Cape’s ‘circus-act’ continues to defy logic!

Safa Western Cape’s leadership is a joke and should be ashamed of themselves as they are adults behaving like toddlers!

Its leader, Tankiso Modipa, has really got the nerve to call a press briefing where he invited the football fraternity to tune into his ‘circus-show’ – to listen to what?

Insights into the state of football affairs and the success in the province?

Really now? What successes if I may ask?

So, here’s a question for Modipa… Why should the football public listen to an individual that doesn’t follow orders and rulings from the judicial system?

Why should its member clubs and public listen to a leader that refuses to do the honourable and right thing and doesn’t take responsibility or act in the best interest of football?

Also, if these matters are so urgent, why wait a whole week to address the pertinent issues that are killing the beautiful game? Are they deliberately stalling and playing for time again?

So, before the football public tune in for more sweet lies again, I think that Modipa should first do what the Arbitrator awarded them to do which is to reinstate Santos back into the league and the Nedbank Cup and get the ball rolling from that perspective.

Also, apologise to Stellenbosch Ladies FC for misleading them. Then while you are at it, apologise to the 14 Sasol League teams which you have deliberately robbed of a whole season of football – and also everyone in the province and country for that matter for bringing the game into disrepute.

Perhaps, then only it would be fair game to tune in and listen to whatever gobbledygook you want to spin to the public!
