Safa Cape Town has asked for a life-ban to be imposed on former Cape District Football Association president and secretary Nathan Less (pictured) following his ‘no-show’ at a Safa CT hearing at the Rygersdal FC’s clubhouse in Rondebosch on Thursday evening.
Less sent a letter of apology to the region stating that he resigned from all football but the case was heard in absentia.
Less’ CDFA colleague Grant Adams also sent an apology which stated that he is working upon which proof of work was requested and he didn’t, so this matter will be resummoned and charged.
Less was summoned to please explain his role at the CDFA’s AGM where their election was held but subsequently declared null and void for breaching the Mother body’s constitution the hearing has found.
As expected Less did not pitch and his resignation from football could be construed as rather suspect – or at least the timing thereof.
Less decided to remain mum on the issue when our website reached out to him for comment. Below is his letter of resignation.

“LET THE GAMES BEGIN”.
I know that it is easier said than done. I have been a Footballer since the age of 10.
CDFA was the “safe haven” that we as little boys at the time could and were allowed to
learn and enjoy a game of Football.
So, I do believe that we cannot deprive the younger people of this.
An appeal to all the parties involved, could we please accelerate the process. I am suggesting that you short- circuit the whole process, by bringing to book all those Folk who caused all this…..and with immediate effect, so that things can return to normal. PLEASE! PLEASE. 🙏
I say this with much respect to SAFA.
