Stephanus Pheiffer, manager of the Central-Karoo-based team Barcelona was very abrupt and waived his right of reply to clarify the confusion surrounding one of his players recruited from ABC Motsepe rivals Zizwe United.
“Ask your source. Subject closed,” was Pheiffer’s reaction to No Bones with Jones.
This follows after our website was informed that the Nyanga-based Second Division outfit was hocked o discovery that one of the players released to Barcelona, has now taken on a new identity.
“How did this happen? How did this slip through the authorities? When you registered on MySafa they are supposed to pick this up,” a source from Zizwe who wanted to remain anonymous, stated.
No Bones with Jones has been informed that the player, just know as ‘Addi’ is also allegedly registered with a club in De Aar.
Meanwhile, Safa Western Cape Chairman Tankiso Modipa explained that they won’t be able to investigate if no one officially complained, as directed by the rules.
“But if such a request eventually becomes official, of course we are going to investigate the matter. It is public knowledge according to what I heard and saw,” Modipa added
