No Bones with Jones can confirm that former Royal AM striker Lesvin Stoffel (pictured) has resurfaced at the ABC Motsepe League outfit Hanover Park FC where he landed him a one-year deal.
Our website can also confirm that the 37-year-old veteran striker completed his medical already.
Stoffels is now waiting for his player’s card and could still feature for his new club this weekend in the Nedbank Cup preliminary rounds, where they will face the newcomer Inter City Kings (15:00) at the Wynberg Military Base.
Bolle, as Stoffels is called, will undoubtedly strengthen and add more firepower to Hanover Park’s attack for the upcoming 2025/’26 campaign.
One thing is certain, Hanover Park will not be short of experience as they already boast a formidable squad with the likes of the Saal-brothers, Devon and Lionel, Shiraj Wiks, Ziyaad Eksteen, Lance Beyers, and others.
Stoffels last featured in the Motsepe League for Young Bafana under coach Bradley Barnes – but that was months ago and could possibly be short of match sharpness at Motsepe level.
That said, Stoffels was still active as he featured for Wynberg St. Johns in the Cape Town Tygerberg LFA last season.
Hanover Park, who many feel were hard done by last season when they lost the regional playoff final against Zizwe United, definitely has unfinished business and would want to go all the way this time round.
