According to Saatjie, as Daniels is known, their campaign and overall objectives are bigger than just bragging rights in derbies.
“Look, this league and the stream in itself is not easy and if you don’t get off to a good start, you end up playing catch up and then every game becomes a cup final every weekend because none of the teams are easy games and you also have to respect the opposition,” he added.
Furthermore, Daniels is aware that he has to adhere to Rangers philosophy of nurturing and developing their young talented LFA players to the senior ranks.
“Creating a pathway for the youngsters to make the step up takes priority you know. But that also takes place during the winter season and they are in a process of wrapping up their place in the CT Tygerberg LFA in order to use it as a platform to build which we also benefit from and thrive on.
“So, that is an important cog in our wheel and our development as well. That is to give our kids opportunity first and foremost. So, we use that platform to build but it has not been easy,” Daniels concluded.
