Antalyaspor JPM Cape Town FC has signaled their promotion intentions with some astute signings – two players in the form of former Orlando Pirates midfielder Yanga Baliso (pictured) and Cole Schoeman.
The 26-year-old Baliso comes with a wealth of experience after stints in Finland with clubs such as Pargas IF, IFK Mariehamn and AC Oulu in the Veikkausliiga (First Tier).
Antalyaspor JPM’s manager Shaun Ferrier confirmed the news to No Bones with Jones: “We are extremely satisfied with the squad we have assembled thus far, ” said Ferrier.
“I think the squad has necessary depth with a good balance between youth and experience which should put us in good stead.”
Ferrier, who formerly managed Milanon United First Division outfit revealed that they also roped in the experienced scout Xolani ‘Bra X’ Mathe as their new kit manager.
Bra X, who has been with Chippa United and recently Zizwe United, is also a well-known scout on the local scene and his knowledge about the township footballers will definitely help the Wynberg-based outfit.
“Yes, he (Mathe) will definitely add great value with his knowledge and experience,” Ferrier added.
