It will be interesting to see who in Cape Town will be queuing up for the services of “Mr Hot Property” Ashraf Calvert (pictured).
No Bones with Jones can confirm that ‘Assie’ as Calvert is better known, has mutually parted ways with the Hollywoodbets Super League outfit TS Galaxy Queens after just two months in charge of the Mpumalanga-based outfit.
A source close to Galaxy confirmed the news to our website: “Yes, TS Galaxy have mutually parted ways with coach Calvert,” the source revealed to No Bones with Jones.
“I guess the timing wasn’t right for both. We wish him everything of the best for his future endeavours.”
Calvert took charge of seven games winning four and losing three with the Super League pro outfit.
Our website understands that the reason for Calvert’s departure is definitely not results driven as Galaxy Queens is currently a respectable ninth out of 16 teams with a game in hand – six points off the top.
They have scored 11 goals and conceded the same amount in the process.
Calvert is probably due to arrive in the Mother City in the coming days and expectations are that he will be inundated with offers.
