Build-It Cape Gate building a better future through soccer and netball

BUILD-IT Cape Gate is pulling out all the stops to host the annual under13 Build-it Schools soccer and netball tournament.

The first tournament post-Covid will be held on the 11th of August at the Aristea Primary School in Kraaifontein.

Needless to say, these participants will be schooled by the usual suspects, the football legends from Cape Town, such as Safa Cape Town’s technical director, Boebie Solomons.

According to the event organizer, Jesse Moshoela, this will be the first year that Build-it Cape Gate is hosting the event as a corporate entity.

“We are even more committed than ever to enriching the lives of our future generation,” Moshoela explained.

“As you know we are a building store with materials that lays the foundation for our country to prosper, so too, can we lay the foundation to allow kids to reach their full potential.

“Whether it be in the classroom or on the sports field.  We are all about giving back, empowering, enlightening and enriching lives, you know.”

Along with Moshoela’s partner in crime, Cassandra Bogenhagen, the duo has ensured its all systems go for the event.

“My message to the kids is to have fun,” Moshoela stated further.

“I’m also appealing to the parents and the broader public to come out and support their children and loved ones. It is important that we collectively show them that we care and want to make a difference and a positive contribution to their lives.

Meanwhile, Solomons added that they are just too happy to have development “that will engrain our future talent and to assist them getting the proper training from a young age.”
