Inter City rope in ‘Oenie’ to add more stability and experience to technical team

It took former Silver Spurs coach Goodwin Lewis only three weeks to land a new project with Inter City FC in the ABC Motsepe League.

No Bones with Jones can confirm that Lewis’ services was acquired recently to bolster City’s technical team currently consisting of head coach Theo Hempe, assistent Shamiel Permal and manager Aslam Petersen.

It’s no secret that Hempe and Permal are currently struggling to find a winning formula as they are still winless after four matches with only one point on the board out of a possible 12 points.

Our website understands that the well-travelled Lewis was roped in for his experience and must now bring more stability and structure to the technical team.

Who knows perhaps ‘Oenie,’ as Lewis is called, could be the missing link that City needs to get their season back on track.

Lewis will be on the bench when they travel to Parow Park to face the unbeaten Vasco da Gama on Saturday which is the last game before the Festive break.
