After an absence of three years due to various reasons and setbacks, former Bafana Bafana defender Nasief Morris appears to be “back on track” with his N5 Sports Trust project – with a continuation of the next phase lined up for Youth Day on June 16 2026.
According to a statement released by N5 they “will be having a free coaching clinic for kids between the ages of 7-12 years old and intend to cater for between 250-300 kids at the event to be held at Westridge. High School.
“We are also hosting a five-a-side tournament later that day, which is open to all ages,” Morris revealed to No Bones with Jones. “We will be well represented but await confirmation from guys like Moeneeb Josephs, Lance Davids, Ricardo Katza, as well as others like Dominic Isaacs and Robyn Johannes for confirmations of playing an ambassador’s role at the event.
“Blue Ribbon will be there to assist the kids with snacks following our tournament which will be held in the afternoon as it is open to all ages. This will be followed by an exhibition match between a N5 side versus a UTP Unchain the Plain outfit to crown off the event,” Morris concluded.
