Tafelzucht’s Kenny confirms suspension, eager to know who is “doos” behind this!

FC Tafelzucht’s chairman Kenny Hendricks has confirmed his suspension by the Mitchells Plain LFA (MPLFA), adding that he is eager to know who the “doos” is that sits behind this orchestrated move.

“Yes, I have been suspended,” Hendricks confirmed to No Bones with Jones.

“Now who is the doos here? Is it our football leaders or is it someone in our executive that is leaking this stuff?”

Hendricks, a registration officer at the MPLFA, also pointed out that his suspension emanates from the fact that he has been linked to be the driving force behind a possible breakaway move from the MPLFA to form a third LFA in the Mitchells Plain area.

The two LFA’s already functioning in the area are the Mitchells Plain Football District (MPFD) and the LFA Mitchells Plain.

No Bones with Jones reported a couple of weeks ago that there is a campaign to try and break away from the MPLFA. Our website is also in possession of a list of seven clubs that have indicated that they are in solidarity with Tafelzucht and are keen to break away to form the third LFA.

These clubs include Westridge Football Club, Kenpark United FC, Rock-a-fellas FC, Red Rovers FC, Cedar Park FC, Beacon Spurs FC and Stanturf United Football Club.

The MPLFA, under the leadership of Gilbert Kruger, has in the meantime released a statement to all clubs and executive members under the subject line: Media Brief & Press Release.

The statement requests that “All Club Chairperson not implicated are invited to attend the Media Briefing & Press Release scheduled for September 11th (19:00) at the Westridge Sports Complex in Park Avenue, Westridge.

Hendricks suggested that it is all “hearsay.”

“I didn’t even contest the suspension,” Hendricks pointed out. “But yes, it is hectic out there and to me, it is all about football. If ‘this man’ or ‘that woman’ or ‘these people’ feel that they want to suspend me, then they can just do whatever they want.

“It is not a matter that I don’t care about. It is just a matter of you suspending a person and you don’t even call a person in afterwards to talk about it, you know.

“I mean, it is almost a month now and I haven’t been called into a DC (disciplinary hearing). Now they come to say it is a fact-finding meeting. The thing is this when that meeting is done, I’m going to speak to you,” Hendricks concluded.

Meanwhile, Kruger confirmed the MPLFA’s decision to place Hendricks under suspension at this point in time.

“The matter is under investigation,” Gilbert told No Bones with Jones. “It has gone through quite a process already where a number of investigations have taken place.

“We have now concluded a draught report which will be presented to the media, as well as all our clubs on Monday (evening) for further discussions. I am quite happy to answer any questions thereafter,” Kruger confirmed.
