Junction Rovers’ uncertainty and tight-lippedness following their relegation, is probably not helping their cause in securing the services of their beloved coach, Chrissando De Weber.
For starters, De Weber, like many, are probably unsure and left in limbo at the moment regarding the way forward for Junction and his personal career as well.
De Weber revealed to No Bones with Jones. “Look, if Junction doesn’t come forward with a plan and vision for the new season, then it will be time to spread the wings and further grow my coaching career..
“Maybe I’m in need of a new challenge If they don’t come forward with something positive,” De Weber concluded.
De Weber, who won promotion with Junction in 2023, did a fantastic job despite the limited resources and budget at his disposal.
Junction has put up a brave fight for the three seasons they competed and one wonders what would have happened if the club still had links with Ana Barrote-Rightford’s Novca Nocial.
Look, in hindsight, everything is questionable, but perhaps it would have been in everyone’s interest if they had sold when the offer was on the table from Nova.
