‘Super’ Mario and ‘Tollie’ hoping to hit elusive ‘G-Spot’ with Spurs

Silver Spurs FC recruited not one, but two coaches for their upcoming Third Division campaign of Safa Cape Town.

The Silvertown-based outfit finished as runner-up last season under the guidance of Cheslyn “Giggs” Tajoodien and decided to replace him for various reasons.

No Bones with Jones can confirm that “Super” Mario Tito and Franklin “Tollie” Davies have both been appointed to get their hands on the elusive league trophy that has been evading Spurs for many many years now.

Tito holds a Safa C-licence while Davies has his D-licence. It has been jokingly said behind the scenes that Spurs’ coaching duo will be known as ‘CD’ and that they hope for a harmonious ensemble in order for the duo to reach the high notes.

Needless to say, Spurs’ die-hard fans and those loyal to the club, will keep their fingers crossed that the proverbial two heads are better than one adage, do come to fruition.

Spurs’ chairman Enver Zeeman informed our website that he is confident that the duo can take the team to the promised land.

“Both of them come through the Silver Spurs’s ranks and they are familiar with the culture of the club,” said Zeeman.

“They are known to the players and the broader community and this makes them accessible and people can identify with them,” the chairman added.
