This time the Nedbank Cup Provincial Playoffs for Third Divisions played at the Rooikrans Sport Complex is turning out to be a total disaster. The scary part is it continues tomorrow with the finals.
During No Bones with Jones’s visit the Provincial Secretary Nadia Konstabel was not on her post and again late for her duties – like in the past.
This is also why the verification process has started hours late and is still underway – games eventually kicked off more than two hours later.
This is also a total disrespect for the traveling teams like the West Coast’s representative from Vredendal who travelled more than 400 km but were well on time.
There were also a couple of teams who arrived late which added to the drama.

In recent weeks the Rooikrans venue, base of the South Peninsula LFA, has seen the successful hosting of the big event such as Safa Cape Town’s Third Division playoffs as well as many rounds of the prestigious coke cup under the leadership Terence Hermanus.
Why the province also did not tap into and make use of Hermanus’ services is beyond comprehension as he and his team have shown many times they are well capable to have completed most of the admin work.
