Allegations of unlawful suspensions and foul play rocks Delft LFA ahead of AGM – President Jattiem under fire as “vote of no confidence” emerged

The Delft LFA, under its leader, Ebrahiem Jattiem (pictured), has been rocked by alleged suspensions and foul play ahead of its AGM on Sunday (1 March 2026).

Now, for context sake, it’s common knowledge that Jattiem has always been a loyal and longstanding ally of Safa Cape Town president, Bennett Bailey – so, it is also understandable that Jattiem will yet again be in Bailey’s corner as he want to preserve the status quo when the region’s elections take place in two months’ time.

Alas! A rapid paradigm shift and revolt is starting to unfold at this LFA that is based in Voorbrug, Delft, as its exco members have seen the light are now committed to a change of leadership for fairness and the betterment of the LFA and football in general.

Now, the LFA is having its AGM on Sunday and No Bones with Jones has been informed that to date, the Exco has not given the clubs any reports or financial reports to prepare for the AGM.

“There are DC cases that have not been finalised yet and one club has been expelled because for no reason other than making him (Jattiem) feel threatened about the election,” one of the exco members who wants to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, revealed to No Bones with Jones

“There is also a vote of no confidence against the entire exco and this letter was submitted to Safa CT a week before last but to date, Safa CT has not yet responded. It seems like they are protecting the president of the LFA Mr. Jattiem because if the exco has to stand down, then this means that Bennet Bailey will lose a vote and they cannot allow that. This is not fair towards football,” the source added.

Meanwhile, Jattiem said he was unaware of proceedings. “There is no letter coming to us or anything,” Jattiem stated to No Bones with Jones.

Our website understands that it is not the first occasion where this LFA has found itself in disarray. A couple of years back they were very close to being placed under administration if it wasn’t for the timeously intervention from the powers that be.

This is a developing story!
