For a club only a couple of months old, any achievement – on or off the field – will be celebrated and embraced with the utmost appreciation and enthusiasm.
Hence, it’s no wonder that Inplay Football Club – who was established in March 2026 and a member of the Rygate LFA, made a big deal of their latest accomplishment – new match kits and tracksuits!
“This may seem like a small achievement to many, but to us, it represents another important step in building a professional and sustainable football club,” Danian Wareley, owner and coach, explained to No Bones with Jones. “Like many emerging clubs, we have faced the challenge of limited exposure, as much of the attention and support within the game is naturally directed towards more established teams.
“Nevertheless, we remain committed to earning our place through consistent hard work and strong performances on and off the field. I must admit that it’s really challenging as we’ve been playing with 10 players for most of the season,” he added.
Apart from their new apparel, things on the field are also looking promising in their debut season in the Western Region Premier League (WRPL). Inplay is currently third on the log with seven games still to play and could still do the unthinkable.
Wareley on the other hand reckons there is no rush for the so-called big success or the “win-at-all-cost-factor” as their vision extends far beyond our first season.
“We have developed a five-year plan to establish Inplay Football Club as one of the leading names in women’s football,” Wareley further added. “Our goal is to create teams across multiple divisions, building a clear development pathway that serves as a conveyor belt for female footballers, allowing talented players to progress and reach their full potential.
“We understand that the journey will not be easy, especially without significant external support. However, we believe in long-term development, staying patient, keeping our heads down, and continuing to put in the work every day. We are confident that our commitment, values, and vision will lay the foundation for lasting success,” Wareley concluded.
