Inter City FC has secured the services of former Greenwood Athletic starlet Connor Zade Jales (pictured) to bolster their attack for the upcoming ABC Motsepe League campaign.
City’s management was working frantically behind the scenes to get the deal over the line before the transfer window closed on Friday (14 November).
A source close to City confirmed they have managed to get the deal over the line in the nick of time.
“Sign. sealed and delivered,” the source replied to No Bones with Jones.
This move comes after the promising 18-year-old forward was released by the PSL outfit Baroka FC after just one season into his three-year deal.
Jales, a technically gifted player who is strong on the ball is indeed a massive acquisition for the Motsepe League newcomer – besides he is an ‘under’ which bodes well for head coach Theo Hempe and his technical team.
It’s believed that Zizwe United, who was bought over by Ikapa Sporting, also showed interest in the youngster, however, City was quick to pounce!
