Is fake Jenkins spewing the “Buffalo lies” on Bailey’s behalf?

There’s a Jason Jenkins who’s been very vocal of late regarding the election campaign of Safa Cape Town’s president Bennett Bailey as well as that of his superior, Safa National’s president, Danny Jordaan.

And if one reads between the lines there are strong undertones of that of the man himself. It’s all good as we live in a democratic country where freedom of speech and expression is anything but curtailed.

But judging by what Jenkins is spewing on his dodgy platform it’s crystal clear that it is not created for social banter and interaction.

This also leads one to believe that it’s a fake account created purely to distort fact from fiction. If true, then it’s very hypocritical of the region’s head to accuse other platforms of being cowardice and faceless hiding behind fake profiles, yet Jenkins’ whole ‘campaign’ thrives and relies on this facade.

It’s also been said, tongue and cheek that the “Buffalo lies”, I mean the “Buffalo files,” has been very haphazard of late due to the beast contracting a mild form of foot and mouth disease which there is unfortunately no cure for.

Be that as it may, the biggest ethical issue, which the football public should be made aware of and realize is that the lack of respect and accountability Bailey’s organization has shown towards the judiciary system.

Now, this has got nothing to do with the fact that strings were apparently pulled to keep his rival candidate Eric Gum off the ballots but rather about what is right and just.

Also, if the confidence currently portrayed by Bailey during his campaign is so vehement, why not take up the challenge with Gum and show the public that you are not a “bangbroek” (scaredy pants).

Recently, the region was also ordered by an Arbitrator, SK Madlala, to pay the R30 000 award for the legal costs in their legal battle with the Langa-Ndabeni LFA on 20 February – it’s more than a month now and nothing forthcoming which shows a blatant disregard and disrespect towards the Arbitration process.

Similarly, no public apology has been given to Weitz either after Bailey’s own Safa CT DC Committee instructed him to do so. Why is it that certain individuals think they are too powerful and untouchable not to be law abiding citizens? Should he not be held liable for contempt?

Furthermore, No Bones with Jones has gathered that the region is also liable for the legal costs of Liverpool-Portlands from the Mitchells Plain LFA after they lost an appeal when a Safa National Appeal Board ruled against them and ordered the region to pay the legal costs of the club which apparently is more than R100 000.

This is a huge amount and where is the money coming from for the region to operate so irresponsibly? Could this not have been spent more wisely amongst its constituents who are bleeding financially and in dire need of some reprieve?

Does this not sound familiar with what is currently playing out in the rest of the world where the president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, uses the taxpayers’ money to fund and push his own agendas with the war against Iran? Is it because he thinks he is above the law and does not have to account?

Mind you, the crime fighter and activist Hanif Loonat recently concurred with this analogy when he likened Bailey to that of Trump and his partner in crime, Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netenyahu.

Very few can argue about the demonic and sadistic mannerisms of this duo as it plays out in front of the eyes of the whole world – and the public aren’t stupid!

For eg. Trump will proclaim that the one day they won the war, the next day he utters they are still in talks and negotiating with Iran. Talk about being delusional and out of touch with reality.

Hence, one can draw striking parallels between the trio as their behaviour personifies nothing but dictatorship.

Perhaps the football public should start a campaign demanding that the ethical, moral and right thing should be done and that is to pay the Arbitration costs. What is the delay, these are the pertinent questions – or is that there are no more funds in the coffers?
