Keita says, “nothing confirmed” as Junction earmark soccer legend as successor to De Weber for ‘Graveyard’ League

Despite “nothing confirmed” as yet, it is believed that the Cape football legend Keith America has been tipped to fill the vacant head coach position at Junction Rovers.

Junction, who was relegated to Safa Cape Town’s Third Division League last season after three years in the ABC Motsepe League, was without a coach following the departure of Chrissando de Weber to Wynberg St. Johns.

One can only imagine when De Weber’s WSJ came to visit Heideveld for their ‘Graveyard’ matchup at the so0called ‘Harry Gwala’ later in the season which kicks off on 23 September.

The 66-year-old America previously coached Silver Spurs for a couple of months and is currently developing players within the region’s structures.
