The Sport Stepping Foundation (SSS) is continuing with its legal pursuit to uncover what happened to the proceeds of the Sports for Humanity initiative held in support and solidarity of the people of Palestine.
While Safa CT claims no record or agreement – verbal or written – were undertaken between SSS and the region to split the profits, the records indicate that all the proceeds from the Freedom Cup were deposited into the region’s account.
What was also alarming, is when Safa CT suddenly donated R100 000 to the Gift of the Givers without consultation with its members. This publicity was done to clear Safa CT’s alleged guilt meanwhile no funds reached the people of Palestine which was also one of the reasons the event was held as well.
