“It’s nothing major,” says Inter City’s Ashlam after Permall parted ways with the club

Inter City FC manager Ashlam Petersen has confirmed the club parted ways with one of its assistant coaches in Shamiel Permall (pictured).

“Look, it’s nothing major as he has other commitments with his Tramway FC club,” Petersen explained to No Bones with Jones. “Bear in mind the LFA is starting soon and he has got those obligations which now take priority. But Shamiel’s services are not entirely lost as he will still help out when available so that’s basically that,” Petersen concluded.

Meanwhile Permall stated he “enjoyed” his stint at City and wished the club well for the remainder of the season.

City is currently languishing in the second last position but should retain their ABC Motsepe League status for next season and will harbour bigger and better expectations for sure.
