This comes after Julian Bailey, media liaison for the host club, Cape Town City confirmed the 2026 edition has been postponed until later in the year.
“We have faced a number of challenges in preparations and took the difficult decision in order to protect the club, sponsors and the tournament’s integrity.” Bailey explained to No Bones with Jones. “A new date will be communicated in due time. Apologies for any inconvenience caused,” Bailey concluded.
