Mamelodi Sundowns have snapped Diadora FC’s ‘Terrible Twins’, Okuhle (pictured left) and Buhle Majavu for an undisclosed fee.
Our website can confirm that the 16-year wingers from Diadora will form part of the Brazilians’ Diski team.
The duo joined up with the Hanover Park-based outfit in the beginning of the season from the Strand-outfit, Young Bafana.
Diadora’s coach Shakes Mangaliso also played a huge part in securing the deal for the Majavu-brothers to Chloorkop.
“They are both very talented and have a promising future,” said a source close to Downs.
It remains to be seen if the twins will be available for defending Coke Cup champion’s Round of 16-tie against Table View (13:30) at the Rooikrantz Sportfield on Sunday.
“If they manage to get a late flight tomorrow then they will probably be available for the cup game,” the source added. “If not, then they will unfortunately not be in the squad due to their commitments,” the source concluded.
